Dropping Funnels Two types are available; type A has no pressure equalizing line and is used to feed vessels. Type B is used when there is a slight overpressure in the receiving flask.
Dropping Funnels for use under vacuum two types are available; type A has a one way stopcock and type B has a three way stopcock in the pressure equalizing line.
Constant Addition Funnels with Mariott Tube These funnels can be used under vacuum or under normal pressure. Pressure equalization is achieved by the valve spindle or the Mariott tube.
Constant Addition Funnels with suspended floatThese funnels are for use under vacuum or at normal pressures. The feeding vessel is surrounded by a suspended level float that ensures equalization of pressures. These funnels can therefore be used with oscillating hydrostatic pressures.
Constant addition Funnels with Pressure Equalizing TubeThese funnels are fitted with a pressure equalizing line controlled with a standard 4mm bore stopcock and an additional pressure equalizing stopcock to the atmosphere.
Constant Addition Funnels for Low TemperaturesThese funnels are fitted with a tempering jacket and a silvered vacuum insulating jacket for low temperature fluids. Type A has a spindle valve at the top and Type B has a side located glass needle valve. Pressure equalization is by the valve spindle or by the Mariott tube with a stopcock.
Addition Funnels for SolidsFor controlled addition of dry, granular solids using an auger. The pressure equalizing line has a PTFE spindle valve to enable operation under vacuum or an inert gas. Threaded connections provide excellent grease free seals. To avoid auger sticking with boiling solvents, type B has cooling jacket in the funnel cone.
